Hi James - We do not currently share that breakdown, but we can confirm that a 4x larger amount of a Friend Tier membership goes towards the writers you read and engage with, compared to regular members. This revenue share is calculated in the same way as our standard Medium membership, then multiplied by four. The % of a member’s revenue allocated to writer earnings isn’t a fixed number — it depends on what members/Friends of Medium do, how much they read and engage, etc. — which is why we don't have one number to share. Also, the overall earnings pie for writers will grow as more Friends join. that way, when new Friends join, it won’t reduce the writer earnings generated by regular members.
