Hey there, no, we are not having second thoughts about the MPP expansion. The mission of Medium is to help people deepen understanding of the world and we can only do that if we have diverse voices on the platform; you can only learn from someone who is different from you. To equate the MPP expansion with fraud by default is a pretty ethnocentric approach. As we grow, we will always have new hurdles to figure out; as the world becomes more complex and bot-filled and spam-filled and scam-filled, we will always have to adapt. This is part of that growth (unfortunately, bit of a growing pain).
