Great question - we are working on part 2 of this post, "how to adapt your research into a Medium post for a non-academic audience". (Uh, the title will probably be snappier by the time we publish it.) We are lucky to have a wealth of writing expertise both within Medium and with writers across the platform, so I suspect this will only be the starting point for writing advice.

We're also holding an Academics Hour event early next year where folks can ask specific questions and get insights. If it is helpful and there's interest, maybe we'd make events a regular thing for or increase our support for the academic community in other ways (in-person on campus? guest speaker in science comms classes??). We have other ideas, too, but we're doing a lot of listening to see what is most helpful and resonates with people!
